I’m Writing this using a program And while its not perfect its pretty damn good . I’ve never used it before today and already feal fairly confident with it .
It has a huge amount of functionality it can do some basic word prediction, and punctuation. It’s controlled through mouse movements and click to start click to stop . While i’ve found it easy to use there are those who struggle with it as they don’t like the motion of the graphis. In short i think this is a really useful piece of software especially for people who struggle to use keyboard.
So there are a couple of mistakes in the text above which I made while using dasher but that’s fine, I still think its a great bit of software and has some real potential as an accessibility tool. I want to, off the back of this find out if it can be controlled using button presses and if so what are the minimum number of buttons needed to control it? Watch this space for that future bit of work.
